GCCA Expands Its Market Intelligence Capacity

September 16, 2019

September 16, 2019 - Arlington, VA  – According to a recent survey conducted by the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), cold chain industry professionals need more and better industry data and trends to make business decisions and support company goals. Therefore, to advance the work of its members and the cold chain industry as a whole, GCCA is expanding its research capabilities.

“GCCA is dedicated to solving its members’ business challenges,” says GCCA President and CEO Corey Rosenbusch, CAE, IOM. “Increasing GCCA’s market intelligence function underscores and augments our commitment to members and the cold chain.”

As part of its new efforts, GCCA has hired a director of market intelligence and research, Jason Troendle, who comes to the organization from the Context Network. There, Troendle served as a senior business analyst and provided strategic, market, and financial analysis around the agriculture, biotechnology, and food industries. Troendle has a master’s in applied economics and management from Cornell University.

“The cold chain industry is increasingly dynamic, and I look forward to uncovering information that can directly help GCCA members grow their businesses and improve profitability,” Troendle says.

GCCA will continue to generate content members and industry professionals rely on, such as the IARW Productivity and Benchmarking Report , Global Cold Storage Capacity Report and more. Now, with Troendle’s leadership, the organization also will develop additional useful resources that can advance the industry.
