Executive Hospitality & Networking Hub
Open throughout the event, Moontower Ballroom
Designed to offer conventioneers a place to meet, relax and recharge, the Executive Hospitality & Networking Hub will be open the duration of event and will be located in the Moontower Ballroom. Wondering where to meet peers or partners? Look no further! The Hub includes lounge seating and meeting tables to be utilized by attendees. Streamline your day by grabbing a cup of coffee or snack at the Welcome Café in the hospitality stations located throughout the room. During the event, the Hub will feature refreshment breaks, breakfasts, and play host to the Supplier Showcase, where attendees can stay informed on new automation solutions, equipment, technology, and other industry solutions to innovate their businesses.

Featured atop Hotel VanZandt, Geraldine’s will play host to this years IARW-WFLO Board Reception and Dinner. The venue offers a bat’s-eye-view (you read that right) of Lady Bird Lake and the picturesque downtown skyline. Make sure you are outside at sundown to watch the famous bats absconding from beneath the Congress Avenue Bridge. The evening will feature a reception and dinner.

1920s Speakeasy Party
Saturday October 9, 7:00pm – 10:00pm Speakeasy
Transport yourself back to the 1920s prohibition era for this year’s Speakeasy Party hosted at the Speakeasy in the famous 2 nd street district of Austin. The evening will include entertainment, open bar, and dinner stations. Hosted in the Kabaret Room for an intimate prohibition era vibe complete with pool table, stage, bar, and 1920s inspired lounge furniture. The Bowling Mezzanine has also been reserved for attendees and offers a unique lounge setting with antique couches, a personalized bar, and two vintage bowling lanes, all of which overlook the main music stage. This is the cant-miss event of Convention.
Saturday, October 9 | 8:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center
Enjoy breakfast in the Great Hall at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center while getting to know your fellow spouses and guests. The tour of the Wildflower Center will kick off just after breakfast with a historical overview of this magnificent 284-acre property and continue with small group guided tours of the Center’s mix of cultivated gardens, arboretum, managed natural areas and wildlands that straddle the Edwards Plateau and Texas Blackland Prairies ecoregions. The diverse and beautiful flora and fauna of this area make Austin and Texas in general one of the most unique and special regions in America.
