The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) and the International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) have created an ad-hoc partnership to address the change in short-term workforce needs fueled by the coronavirus pandemic. The partnership will connect International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW) warehouse facilities requiring additional warehouse labor due to a heightened demand on the cold chain with foodservice distributors that have reported excess warehouse capacity.
