The IARW/CEBA Construction Codes Committee recently developed two white papers that are now available to members. The first is a whitepaper on Low Ammonia Charge Refrigeration Systems for Cold Storage , designed to aid contractors, engineers, operators and cold storage owners apply Distributed Low Charge Refrigeration systems to their facility. The second whitepaper, Water Conservation and Optimization ,  covers the fundamentals of water conservation at cold storage facilities with an emphasis on reducing the quantity of water used, conserving non-renewable energy sources and preventing contamination and misuse of natural resources.
